Dr. Björn Heisler

Björn graduated as a dentist from Erlangen-Nuremberg University, Germany, in 1997. He obtained a doctorate in periodontology in 2001. Since he gained his first work experience in a maxillofacial hospital department, his main interests have been in oral surgery and implants while he was working in a private practice in Germany.

Björn moved to the UK, initially for 2 years, to study. In 2005, he completed the Step-Wise-Dental Implant Course at Cardiff Dental School, and gained a Diploma in Implantology from City of London Dental School. He is currently completing an Msc in Implant Dentistry. Björn deepened his special interest in root canal treatments by gaining a Certificate in Advanced Endodontics from the Endoplus Academy in Cologne in 2008.

Björn’s interests also include orthodontics. He is a Master Provider of Fastbraces® Technology, provides clear aligner treatments such as Invisalign, and he applies his knowledge in aesthetically demanding cases involving both orthodontic and restorative treatment while creating a relaxing atmosphere for his patients.

Björn accepts referrals for root canal treatments, aesthetic dental treatments, complex prosthodontic treatments, implants, and orthodontic treatments. He is also one of the few dentists in the UK who provides telescopic dentures, and that for over 25 years.

In his spare time, Björn enjoys (park) running, cycling, swimming with his family and making music on his guitar or piano. Don't be suprised if you sometimes see him on a theatre stage.
